That’s right ladies and gentlemen, Special Love is stepping into the wild world of social media with its very own blog; how far we have come from a neon-green xerox of the camp newspaper! In the coming weeks the Special Love blog will bring together thoughts and comments from campers, siblings, parents, survivors, staff, medical providers, and of course the dedicated administrators who make the whole organization tick. We’ll post photos and videos, tell stories from camp, and maybe even teach Dr. Steve “how that confounded internet thingamajigger” works.

And not a moment too soon! YAC weekend is almost upon us and Reunion follows close behind. We have a exciting summer to look forward to full of friends both new and old (one is silver and the other’s gold) and, for the first time, we have a way to share those experiences as they happen with the world.

So gather ’round this virtual campfire and let’s sing some songs and tell some tales; it’ll be a lot of fun.
